Lightweight 65mm clear white whoop frame kit.

Pretty look.

Easy build made with the Eachine Beecore F3 EVO Flight Control Board DMS2/PPM and the Eachine Tx06.

The cam was directly solder on the board to maximize weight. Despite the cam mount (2g) final weight was pretty good (20.9g).

At the first flight headaches has started. The board behave strangely:

1 - The RANGE 1000-2000 wasn't obtained.

2 - The RANGE obtained (other than 1000-2000) fluctuates. One day it has certains values and the next day different values.

3 - When adjusting the RANGE with the RXRANGE command, the drone behavior became " unpredictable ":
- the throttle may " takes off " suddenly. The drone then leaps in any direction.
- board has excessive failsafe or reboot. It seems like board, battery, or both dysfunction.
- while flying (as seen on many youtube video) the drone suddenly lose altitude and hit the ground. It should maintain his flight level and slowly go down only as battery discharged.

That's not how it's supposed to fly!

To solve / To build:

- The build should be made and works perfectly with minimum composant on or connected unless you know and trusted the board. So i removed the cam and had connectors instead.

- The Betaflight version is decisive (some boards doesn't works as they should with all BTFL version) and BTFL configuration maybe "tricky", really tricky for newbies. In case of PB, test/configure with older version of BTFL <= 3.5.6.

- Avoid RXRANGE. The behavior is not always what is expected. My current range is 1060-1860. It can go down to 1053-1853 (The different thresholds and deadbands are adjusted accordingly).

- As much as possible and in all case avoid PPM protocol (I choosed the PPM version for testing purpose).

- 2 blades props are always better unless you prefer more grip than flight time (BTW flip of death is a material/protocol issue not a power issue).

- Weight on that size is crucial. After the addition of connectors, rubber and hot glue the design has evolved...

I swap the Tx06 mount (2g)...

to a lighter one (0.6g)...

in order to keep the final weight close to 20g.

Now it flies like a bee (zzzzzz zzzzzz zzzzzz).

Because of the PPM receiver, the drone is probably a little bit less powerful than if it was a SBUS version but it works great with Eachine E010 1s 3.7V 200mAh 30C batteries (0 loss of altitude and full speed).

Apart from the fluctuation and the lack of range due to the PPM / DSM2 receiver, the aforementioned malfunctions were due (in my case) to the configuration.
